What is Community Risk Reduction Week?

Wednesday January 17, 2024

Community Risk Reduction Week is a grass-roots effort initiated by fire safety professionals across the country. From January 15-21, fire safety professionals work to teach strategies and plans that can help reduce risk in communities.

From home visits to educational workshops to granting resources, CRR Week strives to prevent fires and lessen risk. Although these professionals host events nationally, working from a local level is the most effective way to reduce community risk.
